BRANDING
In 2020, I led the branding efforts for the Tulsa Drillers, shaping both the slogan "It's All Here" and the accompanying imagery. Our goal was to communicate to our audience that all the excitement and enjoyment awaited them at Tulsa Drillers games.

Tulsa Noodlers

Following the conclusion of the 2019 season, my team and I founded the Tulsa Noodlers. Entering the 2020 season, we made the bold decision to revamp the Drillers with a fresh alternate identity and new uniforms, inspired by a cherished Oklahoma tradition: noodling! Noodling, as defined in the dictionary, entails catching fish—typically catfish—by hand, often by allowing the fish to bite one's hand or by inserting one's hand into the fish's mouth, and then seizing the fish either by the mouth or through the gills.

I played a significant role in the creative process, contributing to decisions ranging from the color scheme and uniform design to the development of the logo. Unfortunately, we had to wait to unveil the Tulsa Noodlers in 2021 due to COVID.

Tulsa Collegiate Team

The 2020 minor league season was very much in doubt, so teams had to figure out how to get by economically. Some hosted  drive-in events at ballparks, others sold food. The Tulsa Drillers, the Dodgers’ Double-A affiliate, used the  ballpark to host a completely different team.

ONEOK Field decided to host a team in the Texas Collegiate League, a summer league for college prospects whose alumni included Paul Goldschmidt, Brandon Belt, Jake Arrieta, and several other future major league players. The Tulsa team hosted the collegiate league called the Drillers, and played a 30-game season in 34 days beginning June 30 and ending August 2.
